Lead CAD/BIM Revit Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creation of MEP, process, civils Non-Infra, and structural Revit models.

• Validate model geometry, metadata, and the progression of model maturity.

• Develop and sustain Revit families, schedules, templates, and discipline libraries.

• Perform technical reviews on models created by others prior to issuance.

• Manage the allocation and planning of Non-Infra modelling tasks across various work packages.

• Own and uphold Non-Infra Revit modelling procedures, ensuring adherence by the team.

• Supervise Revit model quality assurance/quality control, which includes model audits, clash resolution, and quality checkpoints.

• Recognize modelling risks and either escalate or address them promptly.

• Facilitate the integration of Safety in Design information within Revit models.

• Ensure that models incorporate maintenance zones, hazard tagging, and temporary works information as necessary.

• Lead cross-discipline coordination workshops for Non-Infra assets.

• Act as a liaison between process, mechanical, electrical, structural, civil Non-Infra designers, and BIM teams.

• Provide direction for the Non-Infra Revit working group.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional registration or actively pursuing IEng or CEng (desired).

• Proven experience in leading Revit modelling for complex water/wastewater or process engineering projects.

• Extensive knowledge of Revit MEP, Revit Structures, Process Plant modelling, and multi-disciplinary interfaces.

• Expertise in model federation, clash detection, and model validation.

• Experience in progressive assurance and compliance with digital delivery standards.

• Demonstrated adherence to business ethics, respectful behavior, reputation management, and integrity.

• Capability to influence peers with well-founded advice.

• Skill to recognize project opportunities and mitigate risks effectively.

• Understanding of overall project affordability and strategies to enhance commercial performance.

• Knowledge of individual CDM responsibilities.

• Application of health, safety, and welfare practices.

• Commitment to the continuous development of engineering skills.

• Ability to contribute to the creation of engineering documents, drawings, and 3D models.

• Willingness to adopt innovative concepts to enhance efficiency.

• Valid driver's license required.
