This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a team of Behavioral Healthcare Managers, dedicating about 70% of your time to leadership responsibilities.
• Deliver training on evidence-based interventions tailored for cancer patients.
• Conduct quality reviews of sessions, offering feedback and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Audit session documentation to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify challenges faced by BHCMs and propose solutions.
• Engage in a rotating on-call schedule during business hours for patient safety issues and risk evaluations.
• Assess job performance and formulate improvement strategies.
• Provide direct patient care through the Collaborative Care Model, allocating approximately 40% of your time to this task.
• Perform structured mental and behavioral health evaluations for oncology patients.
• Create treatment plans utilizing Protocol’s evidence-based modular treatment framework.
• Execute treatment modules and monitor patient progress.
• Keep a patient registry and take part in weekly consultations with psychiatrists.
• Collaborate and communicate with oncology teams regarding patient advancements and recommendations.
• Maintain licensure in your home state and obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
• Possession of current independent licensure to provide mental health services in at least one U.S. state.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience treating individuals with chronic or serious medical conditions.
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role.
• Regular utilization of data to inform decision-making processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate within diverse teams.
• Capability to balance clinical priorities with business needs.
• Comfort in a fast-paced environment characterized by frequent changes.
• Ability to support patients from various diagnoses, backgrounds, cultures, and acuity levels.
• Proficiency in delivering care in a virtual format.
• Experience in supporting patients dealing with suicidal ideation and/or trauma.
• Willingness and ability to work virtual clinic hours in the Pacific Time Zone.
