Lead Analyst, Commercial Data – AI, Orthopedics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Facilitate comprehensive analytical and AI enablement initiatives for DePuy Synthes' global Commercial systems and operations.

• Develop and manage customer data assets, ensuring source-of-truth datasets, data definitions, quality monitoring, documented logic, and reproducibility.

• Oversee and enhance data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across various systems.

• Prototype and assess generative AI use cases, encompassing message variant generation, subject line testing, content summarization, and agent assistance.

• Implement guardrails, human validation, and evaluation measures for generative AI applications.

• Collaborate on the intake and prioritization of analytics for CRM and other Commercial platforms.

• Convert vague business inquiries into structured hypotheses, analytical plans, and actionable deliverables.

• Establish and standardize KPI frameworks.

• Transform business requirements into clean, usable data models.

• Convey insights related to data structures to leadership and cross-functional partners.

• Ensure adherence to data privacy, consent, security, and AI governance policies.

• Identify potential bias and fairness risks and propose mitigation strategies.

• Mentor analysts on analytical rigor, SQL best practices, and experimentation methodologies.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Data Strategies teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in analytics, data science, or marketing/customer analytics, including hands-on experience with CRM/lifecycle measurement.

• Proficient in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and CTEs.

• Experience managing large-scale, complex datasets.

• Practical experience with Alteryx Designer for building, automating, and optimizing end-to-end data workflows.

• Capability to clean, blend, and transform large, intricate datasets from various sources.

• Strong understanding of Orthopaedics products, procedures, and customer profiles.

• Expertise in translating business inquiries into hypotheses, analytical strategies, and recommendations for optimal data structures.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and influence outcomes without direct authority.

• Familiarity with CRM data privacy concepts, including consent, suppression, and PII management.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; adept at creating executive-ready presentations.

• Preferred: Experience with CRM and Commercial platforms like Salesforce Life Science Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Movemedical, and Tableau Server.

• Preferred: Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Reltio, AWS, Snowflake, SAP, Redshift, and Databricks.

• Preferred: Experience with customer identity resolution, attribution methods, and performance metrics.

• Preferred: Hands-on experience in evaluating or implementing GenAI solutions, including prompting, retrieval-augmented generation, evaluation, and guardrails.

• Preferred: Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, along with semantic modeling.
