Lead, Agentic AI Engineer – Claude Code & Codex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Create and develop LLM-driven autonomous and semi-autonomous agents for intricate, multi-step workflows.

• Construct agent workflows utilizing LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or comparable technologies.

• Execute planning, task decomposition, tool selection, execution, observation, retry, and validation loops.

• Integrate agents with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, developer tools, and SaaS platforms.

• Formulate context-engineering strategies and AI agent harnesses managing state, tools, permissions, workflows, guardrails, retries, and verification.

• Engineer repository and application context for AI coding agents such as Claude Code and OpenAI Codex.

• Develop MCP servers and secure tool-calling mechanisms incorporating authentication, authorization, permissions, and human approvals.

• Integrate and orchestrate both commercial and open-source LLMs for reasoning, planning, generation, and task execution.

• Implement prompt engineering, structured outputs, function/tool calling, model routing, fallback strategies, and RAG.

• Design agent evaluation frameworks and automated LLM-as-a-Judge evaluation pipelines.

• Construct regression testing, validation, guardrails, error handling, retry mechanisms, and human-in-the-loop controls.

• Develop production-grade AI services using Python and FastAPI or similar frameworks.

• Deploy and manage agentic applications in cloud and enterprise environments.

• Design scalable architectures for handling concurrent users, long-running workflows, and complex tool execution.

• Implement caching, inference optimization, asynchronous processing, parallel execution, and cost optimization.

• Integrate AI applications with CI/CD, monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability platforms.

• Transform business and product requirements into secure, scalable agentic AI solutions with measurable impact.

• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, data scientists, architects, and business stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience in Data Science, AI/ML, or Software Engineering.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI.

• Practical experience in building production-grade AI applications and agentic systems.

• Proficient in Python development.

• Experience in creating APIs and AI services using FastAPI or similar frameworks.

• Knowledge in context engineering and AI agent harness engineering.

• Familiarity with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or similar platforms.

• Hands-on experience with A2A and MCP, including developing or integrating MCP servers.

• Experience in connecting agents with enterprise tools, APIs, databases, and SaaS platforms.

• Practical experience with LLMs, agent orchestration, and multi-step/multi-agent workflows.

• Proficiency with LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or equivalent technologies.

• Understanding of agent architecture, tool/function calling, planning, task decomposition, state/memory management, dynamic tool invocation, and workflow orchestration.

• Familiarity with RAG, embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, chunking, reranking, and grounding.

• Knowledge of LLM-as-a-Judge and automated GenAI evaluation.

• Strong background in software engineering and cloud technologies.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, databases/SQL, and AWS/Azure/GCP.

• Familiarity with asynchronous programming, parallel processing, observability, and distributed systems.

• Understanding of LLM performance and production optimization, including hallucination mitigation, context windows, token usage, latency, caching, cost optimization, and monitoring.

• Proven ability to create secure, scalable, production-ready AI solutions with quantifiable business impact beyond POCs.
