Lead Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +18 more states.

📋 Description

• Efficiently and accurately investigate, assess, and resolve automobile claims.

• Review investigations of automobile claims and offer recommendations and guidance on claim management.

• Facilitate the development of frontline adjusters through training, mentoring, and personalized coaching.

• Provide additional leadership support and coverage in the absence of supervisors or as instructed by management.

• Ensure that claims adhere to company standards, industry best practices, and relevant regulations.

• Clearly and accurately document investigations, evaluations, recommendations, and action plans.

• Maintain professional correspondence, reports, and documentation for claim files.

• Deliver outstanding service while fostering positive relationships with customers and business partners.

• Assist with or take the lead on claims projects that involve other areas of the organization.

• Act as a liaison for the Claims department when necessary.

• Support claims operations, procedures, workflows, and departmental initiatives.

• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements and provide recommendations to management.

• Elevate potential quality, compliance, or operational issues to management.

• Assist in the identification, recruitment, hiring, and development of talent.

• Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.

• Adhere to applicable state and federal laws, Department of Insurance requirements, carrier requirements, and company policies and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in the non-standard Property & Casualty insurance sector.

• Proven experience in managing both automobile property damage and bodily injury claims.

• In-depth understanding of insurance industry practices, standards, regulations, and terminology.

• Strong skills in investigation, evaluation, analysis, and decision-making.

• Capability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced claims environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Ability to achieve established performance goals.

• Must successfully pass a background check.
