Lead Actuary – Value-Based Provider Reporting & Support

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis of financial, economic, and operational data to facilitate strategic and business decisions.

• Lead a team tasked with reporting and analytics that inform value-based provider relationships and strategy.

• Collaborate with Market Operations, Provider Experience, and other business partners.

• Provide actuarial assistance during provider negotiations.

• Engage directly with providers.

• Balance relationship goals with financial and compliance factors.

• Oversee internal reporting procedures.

• Contribute to the development of strategy and policies for value-based provider reporting.

• Create new reports and visualizations to meet changing business requirements.

• Address complex issues independently, exercising sound judgment.

• Assess multiple variables to determine effective solutions.

• Report to the Associate Director, Actuarial (General).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• FSA or ASA along with a relevant advanced degree, recent applicable work experience, and/or other relevant professional certifications.

• MAAA.

• Proven ability to communicate ideas clearly in both written and spoken formats.

• Experience in more than two functional areas (e.g., modeling, pricing, rate filing, reporting & analysis, reserving or trending) is preferred.

• Strong organizational skills; proficient in managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, VBA, and data visualization tools.

• Innovative, forward-thinking mindset with the capacity to implement transformative solutions.

• Highly self-sufficient.

• Minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps.
