Actuarial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine pricing model methodologies and data to deliver precise and timely outputs for both strategic and operational decisions.

• Define metrics and perform data analyses to enhance business intelligence.

• Assess industry, economic, financial, and market trends to refine pricing models.

• Create and implement processes and controls to maintain data integrity.

• Work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and challenges.

• Diagnose issues and carry out root cause analyses.

• Formulate cost-effective solutions for data discrepancies.

• Grasp the department, segment, and organizational strategy along with operational objectives.

• Make decisions about work methods in occasionally unclear situations.

• Adhere to established guidelines and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.

• Successful completion of a minimum of 3 actuarial exams.

• Proven ability to convey ideas clearly and effectively in both writing and speaking.

• Work from a designated area free from continuous interruptions to safeguard member PHI / HIPAA information.

• Self-supplied internet service with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps.

• Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.
