L&D Quality Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Act as the quality assurance lead for Learning Solutions content

• Verify that deliverables meet research standards, instructional design principles, accessibility guidelines, and member expectations prior to release

• Facilitate content quality alignment meetings among reviewers

• Create, sustain, and continuously enhance quality standards, scorecards, and governance frameworks

• Examine quality data to uncover trends and risks, providing actionable insights and recommendations

• Identify process deficiencies and implement sustainable solutions that enhance efficiency, consistency, scalability, and member experience

• Define outsourced project scopes and set expectations

• Oversee external vendors and outsourcing partners responsible for content development, maintenance, and production support

• Coordinate reviews and furnish partners with consolidated feedback

• Track partner performance and cultivate relationships that enhance capacity, reliability, quality, and delivery outcomes

• Analyze vendor performance data and suggest improvements

• Collaborate with Learning Solutions leaders, delivery teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to address challenges and implement scalable solutions

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Operations Management, or a related field

• Over 8 years of experience in Learning & Development, Quality Assurance, Content Production, or a relevant discipline

• Proven experience in reviewing and assuring the quality of L&D content against established standards, scorecards, rubrics, or evaluation frameworks

• Experience managing external vendors, agencies, outsourcing partners, or third-party service providers, including project scoping, expectations, timelines, quality standards, and accountability for delivery

• Background in developing and enhancing quality standards, governance frameworks, operating procedures, workflows, processes, and performance measurement practices

• Experience in creating and maintaining scorecards, key performance metrics, and reporting; capable of analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights and recommendations

• Familiarity with instructional design principles and evaluating content quality within a learning and development context

• Strong skills in analytical and critical thinking, project management, collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management

• Ability to excel in a dynamic work environment with complex personalities and situations

• Proven track record of influencing, building alignment, and driving accountability without direct authority

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams

• Experience with Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools is a plus

• Background in consulting, advisory, research, professional services, or membership-based organizations is an advantage

• Experience in learning content development and research is a plus

• Experience collaborating with global teams, vendors, or organizations is a plus

• Relevant professional certifications in project management, quality, process improvement, analytics, and learning and development are beneficial
