This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Deliver tailored remote legal consultations in clear, accessible language across multiple legal disciplines.

• Prepare cases for litigation by conducting factual and legal analyses, reviewing evidence, drafting procedures, and formulating representation strategies.

• Assist the legal team in advocating for clients in civil courts and administrative bodies.

• Evaluate legal files and client circumstances to determine rights, obligations, and available options.

• Guide clients throughout the legal process, clarifying issues, outlining next steps, and discussing potential options.

• Assess possible legal actions and provide realistic, customized solutions for clients.

• Monitor deadlines and procedural obligations diligently.

• Collaborate effectively with the legal team.

• Remain informed about legislative and regulatory developments.

• Occasionally engage in hearings, which includes preparing clients, presenting evidence, conducting examinations, making arguments, and participating in settlement discussions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a license as a lawyer from a Canadian Law Society for a minimum of two (2) years.

• Capable of managing a high volume of legal cases while prioritizing effectively.

• Exhibits empathy and practices active listening with clients.

• Communicates effectively and tailors messages to suit various audiences.

• Resourceful and focused on finding solutions.

• A collaborative team player who fosters teamwork and supports fellow colleagues.

• Builds trust and positively influences team dynamics.

• Fluent in both French and English, with proficiency in spoken and written communication.

• Quebec Bar licensee is considered an advantage.
