📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for designated legal matters, managing them autonomously through the entire workflow while ensuring that deadlines and anticipated outcomes are achieved.

• Offer legal assistance to businesses in the iGaming sector, addressing issues related to corporate governance, licensing, contracts, and compliance.

• Oversee company incorporation and continuous corporate administration across various jurisdictions.

• Facilitate gaming licensing processes, encompassing applications, ongoing requirements, and necessary legal documentation.

• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate commercial contracts, including agreements related to marketing, software development, and licensing.

• Engage directly with international clients, articulating legal requirements, potential risks, and available solutions.

• Conduct research on legislation, regulatory obligations, and pertinent legal practices.

• Assist in the opening of bank accounts and manage related legal or corporate documentation.

• Keep precise legal records and collaborate with internal documentation, databases, and task management systems.

• Recognize missing information and liaise with clients and senior legal colleagues when further input is necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of overall legal experience, including at least 2 years within the iGaming sector in an in-house or legal advisory capacity.

• A university degree in Law.

• A solid understanding of key legal workflows within the iGaming field, specifically regarding corporate issues, licensing, contracts, and compliance.

• Prior experience working directly with clients and the capability to manage professional communications independently.

• Proficient in both written and spoken English for calls, correspondence, legal research, and documentation tasks in an international setting.

• Strong legal drafting and analytical abilities, with a knack for researching unfamiliar topics and transforming findings into clear, actionable conclusions.

• Capacity to explain complex legal concepts in a simple manner and tailor explanations for a non-legal audience.

• High degree of ownership and independence, coupled with a keen attention to detail, dependability, and effective deadline management.

• A commercial mindset, capable of assessing the business implications of legal advice rather than concentrating solely on formal legal requirements.

• Proficient user of Google Workspace, including Drive, Docs, and Sheets.

• Practical familiarity with gaming licensing frameworks such as Curaçao, MGA, Anjouan, Isle of Man, or other relevant jurisdictions (considered a plus).

• Previous interaction with regulators, banks, or payment service providers (considered a plus).

• Understanding of AML/KYC and iGaming compliance processes (considered a plus).
