Latvian Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latvia.

📋 Description

• Engage with advanced language models focusing on topics related to the Latvian language and document any failure modes encountered.

• Interact with the model through various language scenarios.

• Assess the accuracy of facts and the soundness of logic.

• Document reproducible error traces effectively.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Contribute to the training of AI models and support the development of knowledge for applications in the Latvian language.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the Latvian language, encompassing grammar, syntax, morphology, phonetics, semantics, and pragmatics.

• Proficient in analyzing noun declension, verb conjugation, sentence structure, word order, syntax variations, and regional dialects.

• Capability to engage in conversations with language models regarding language scenarios.

• Competence in verifying factual accuracy and logical soundness.

• Skill in capturing reproducible error traces.

• Ability to recommend improvements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to articulate your thought process.

• A master's or PhD in the Latvian language, linguistics, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Experience with peer-reviewed publications, teaching, or hands-on linguistic analysis projects is advantageous.

• A secure computer and high-speed internet must be provided by the contractor.
