LaTex Specialist, French – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Engage advanced language models on LaTeX topics such as intricate equation formatting, support for multiple languages in documents, Beamer presentations, TikZ graphics, troubleshooting packages, and collaborative editing workflows.

• Document every failure mode of the model to enhance reasoning robustness.

• Interact with models regarding document preparation scenarios and theoretical questions related to LaTeX.

• Ensure the accuracy of formatting and logical consistency.

• Capture reproducible error traces.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in generating high-quality training data for AI applications in education, academic publishing, and document preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in LaTeX, encompassing document typesetting, mathematical formatting, bibliographic management, package customization, template creation, and cross-referencing techniques.

• Experience with intricate equation formatting, multi-language document capabilities, Beamer presentations, TikZ graphics, package troubleshooting, and collaborative editing workflows.

• Capability to discuss document preparation scenarios and theoretical questions related to LaTeX.

• Competence in verifying formatting accuracy and logical consistency.

• Ability to capture reproducible error traces.

• Skill in suggesting improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Relevant professional experience in academic publishing, technical writing, or scientific communication indicates suitability.

• Clear, metacognitive communication—demonstrating your thought process—is crucial.

• Fluency in French is mandatory.

• Contractor status necessitates a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.
