LaTex Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engage with advanced language models on LaTeX subjects, covering intricate equation formatting, support for multiple languages in documents, Beamer presentations, TikZ graphics, troubleshooting packages, and collaborative editing processes.

• Record model failure modes to enhance model reasoning.

• Interact with the model regarding document preparation scenarios and theoretical questions related to LaTeX.

• Assess the accuracy of formatting and ensure logical consistency.

• Capture reproducible error traces.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in generating high-quality training data for AI that supports scientific discovery, education, academic publishing, and document preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in LaTeX, encompassing document typesetting, mathematical formatting, bibliographic management, package customization, template creation, and cross-referencing techniques.

• Proficient in complex equation formatting, multi-language document support, Beamer presentations, TikZ graphics, package troubleshooting, and collaborative editing workflows.

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field is preferred.

• Professional background in academic publishing, technical writing, or scientific communication is indicative of a good fit.

• Ability to communicate clearly and metacognitively—“showing your work”—is crucial.

• Proficiency in Hindi is mandatory.

• A secure computer and high-speed internet connection are required for contract work.
