This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

📋 Description

• Engage advanced language models on topics related to LaTeX and document preparation.

• Interact with models regarding document preparation scenarios and theoretical questions pertaining to LaTeX.

• Assess formatting accuracy and logical consistency.

• Document reproducible error traces and identify failure modes.

• Propose enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in generating high-quality training data for AI focused on scientific discovery, academic publishing, and document preparation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in LaTeX concerning document typesetting, mathematical formatting, bibliographic management, package customization, template development, and cross-referencing techniques.

• Experience in formatting complex equations, supporting multi-language documents, creating Beamer presentations, generating TikZ graphics, troubleshooting packages, and working within collaborative editing workflows.

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Professional experience in academic publishing, technical writing, or scientific communication is advantageous.

• Ability to communicate clearly and metacognitively (“showing your work”).

• Fluency in Spanish (Latin America) is mandatory.

• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet is required.
