📋 Description

• Manage and supervise referrals within the Home Office Claim Department.

• Authorize settlements on the most intricate claims that exceed the limits of the Market Claim Office and Regional Claim Office.

• Approve trial proceedings when the gross exposure surpasses the authority of the Market Claim Office.

• Provide general oversight for significant losses assigned to specific CSAs.

• Review and sanction cases that are set for trial.

• Examine coverage, liability, and damages for complex cases requiring authorization.

• Collaborate with Field leadership to gather feedback, provide direction, and take action.

• Act as a specialist and subject matter expert for various projects as necessary.

• Conduct file reviews for complex projects and litigation cases.

• Analyze data and present findings.

• Assess cases to determine the appropriateness of CWP based on gross tort value exposure.

• Assist the Field with discretionary referrals concerning complex coverage matters.

• Engage with Home Office Claim litigation for guidance and involvement.

• Work together with Frontline Performance Experts, Frontline Performance Leaders, and Claim Process Specialists to exchange experiences and trends.

• Collaborate with teams from Product, Protection, Law, and Claims on new offerings and develop Claim Bulletins that impact claim-handling practices.

• This position does not include supervisory responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant experience in managing high-exposure, litigated Bodily Injury claims valued at a minimum of $250,000.

• Experience in handling high-severity claims with policy limits of 250/500 and higher.

• Preferred experience includes Commercial Auto, Personal Auto, Homeowners Liability, and General Liability claims.

• Applicants must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Candidates are not permitted to hold outside insurance appointments during their employment.

• Individuals with an active insurance license must terminate all existing appointments prior to onboarding.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when directed by the licensing team.

• A dedicated and private workspace free from distractions is required when working from home.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.
