Language Alignment & Resource Partner, Sinhala – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Review, annotate, and evaluate AI outputs for grammatical precision, natural flow, and cultural relevance.

• Serve as the main quality assurance during production, pinpointing and rectifying nuanced cultural inaccuracies or clumsy phrasing in Sinhala.

• Examine task quality patterns and independently create educational materials and feedback documentation.

• Provide native-level language assessment during project expansion.

• Deliver specialized linguistic advice throughout the production process.

• Function independently to offer linguistic quality assurance and create alignment resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven work or academic background in linguistics, education, or other disciplines that demand meticulous attention to linguistic detail.

• Prior, concrete experience in human data evaluation or annotation.

• Confirmed proficiency in the Sinhala language at C1 or C2 level.

• Capability to convert raw feedback and quality trends into organized, actionable educational materials.

• Careful approach to language with the skill to identify and amend subtle unnatural phrasing in native Sinhala.

• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet.

• Engagement as an independent contractor or freelancer.
