Language Alignment & Resource Partner, Portuguese – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Evaluate, annotate, and assess AI-generated outputs for grammatical precision, fluency, and cultural relevance.

• Serve as the main quality assurance checkpoint during production, pinpointing and rectifying nuanced cultural inaccuracies or awkward expressions in Portuguese.

• Examine trends in task quality and create educational materials and feedback documentation.

• Provide native-level language validation during project expansion.

• Deliver specialized linguistic advice throughout the production process.

• Work independently to ensure linguistic quality assurance and create alignment resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven work or academic experience in linguistics, education, or related fields that demand a high level of linguistic attention.

• Previous, relevant experience in human data evaluation or annotation.

• Confirmed proficiency in Portuguese at the C1 or C2 level.

• Capability to convert raw feedback and quality trends into organized, actionable educational materials.

• A detail-oriented approach to language, with the ability to spot and amend subtle awkward phrasing in Portuguese.

• Must have access to a secure computer and high-speed internet.

• Engagement as a freelance / independent contractor.
