Language Alignment & Resource Partner, Catalan – Freelance AI Trainer Project

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Work independently to conduct linguistic quality assurance and create alignment resources.

• Evaluate, annotate, and test AI-generated outputs for grammatical precision, naturalness, and adherence to cultural context.

• Serve as the primary quality assurance checkpoint during production to proactively detect and rectify nuanced cultural errors or awkward expressions in the Catalan language.

• Assess task quality trends and create educational materials and feedback documents to enhance the alignment between AI task outputs and campaign objectives.

• Offer native-level language verification during project scaling and provide specialized linguistic advice throughout the production process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven work or academic experience in linguistics, education, or other disciplines that require meticulous attention to linguistic details.

• Previous, relevant experience in human data evaluation or annotation.

• Confirmed Catalan language proficiency at the C1 or C2 level.

• Capability to effectively convert raw feedback and quality trends into organized, actionable educational materials.

• A careful approach to language, with the keen ability to detect and amend even the most subtle unnatural phrasing in their native language.
