Land Records Indexing, Part-time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Efficiently and accurately index and verify documents.

• Ensure that all documents adhere to high-quality standards.

• Navigate various customer contracts while adhering to distinct account guidelines without confusion.

• Collaborate closely with the team lead or manager to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Proactively ask questions and seek assistance when necessary.

• Assist with additional projects upon completion of indexing tasks, including document quality control and image tagging.

• Achieve 100% completion of indexing projects within agreed deadlines while meeting the document-per-hour quota.

• Maintain an error rate of less than 2% in document indexing and verification.

• Obtain positive feedback from customers and promptly correct any indexing errors reported by them.

• Ensure 100% accuracy in work-completion reports and logs.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in indexing land records or a similar skill set is required.

• Familiarity with land records is essential.

• Strong proofreading skills to accurately interpret legal documents and extract relevant information.

• High attention to detail is crucial.

• Proficient typing skills are necessary.

• Competency in computer usage is required.

• Strong aptitude for using computers and learning new software and interfaces.

• Working knowledge of land records and the ability to interpret legal documents for indexing purposes.

• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a remote team.

• Capability to troubleshoot technical issues and apply critical thinking to solve problems.

• Outstanding organizational skills to effectively manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

• A basic understanding of digital imaging concepts, such as file types, resolution, and aspect ratio, is preferred.

• Must be able to remain seated for extended periods.

• Regular use of a computer and other office equipment, including printers and copy machines, is necessary.

• Frequent communication via telephone or video is expected.
