This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Gather, comprehend, analyze, and interpret labor market data at national, provincial, and community levels.
• Deliver labor market insights to enhance operational performance, business growth, marketing, and strategic planning.
• Identify and track activities, policies, and key individuals associated with current and potential funders and clients.
• Collaborate with the Employment Services Contract Manager team to assess the Service Provider Network and aid in performance improvement.
• Assist in research initiatives within WCG or in partnership with external collaborators, including the WCG Employment Index.
• Lead and engage in localization efforts to fulfill bid localization requirements at the catchment, community, and neighborhood levels.
• Share industry knowledge and labor market data through various communication tools, such as graphs, interactive maps, and Resource Spotlight.
• Maintain and routinely update WCG’s Resource Library and best-practice summaries tailored for specific Inclusion Groups.
• Report on inclusion groups within catchments, including community and neighborhood population statistics.
• Provide labor market data and information for funder/client-required Annual Business Plans and other reports, including social and economic profiles of delivery and catchment areas.
• Offer administrative support as necessary.
• Travel within Canada as required.
• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in social sciences, economics, business administration, or a related field, and/or a combination of equivalent relevant education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in compiling, analyzing, and presenting labor market information and related data and reports.
• Proven experience in developing, conducting, and analyzing surveys/questionnaires, including the use of survey tools compliant with FOIPA requirements in Canada.
• Background in research projects, preferably within the human services sector.
• Familiarity with government statistical databases, such as Statistics Canada Census data.
• Experience in organizing and collating data effectively.
• Strong analytical report writing skills.
• Advanced to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
• Robust proficiency in PowerBI.
• Experience with interactive mapping software such as My Maps and QGIS is preferred.
• Ability to create custom data visuals, including graphs and interactive maps.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
• Strong written communication abilities and capacity to produce outstanding written content for diverse audiences under tight deadlines.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to constant changes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Must successfully complete a Criminal Record Check.
