This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Identify, develop, and secure new sales opportunities for laboratory equipment and diagnostics.
• Enhance business within current accounts while fostering growth through the acquisition of new customers.
• Meet territory sales goals for instrumentation, reagents, and consumables.
• Build relationships with laboratory leaders, healthcare providers, and key decision-makers.
• Understand customer requirements and suggest solutions that enhance operational and clinical performance.
• Establish trusted partnerships to support long-term success for customers.
• Assist with laboratory equipment evaluations, implementations, installations, and customer acceptance processes.
• Promote menu expansion opportunities and encourage the use of reagents and consumables.
• Aid customers in laboratory planning and equipment placement decisions.
• Collaborate with McKesson sales teams, supplier partners, and internal stakeholders to identify and cultivate opportunities.
• Provide laboratory expertise throughout the entire sales process.
• Assist in proposal development, laboratory planning, and customer presentations.
• Support laboratory growth initiatives across the Northeast Territory.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Completion of a 7-year motor vehicle record check as part of pre-employment requirements.
• Preferred laboratory diagnostics sales experience.
• Experience in selling laboratory instrumentation is preferred.
• Experience in selling laboratory reagents and consumables is preferred.
• Preferred experience in Acute Care or Non-Acute Care laboratory settings.
• Preferred experience in Chemistry, Hematology, or Immunoassay testing environments.
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of laboratory diagnostics and testing environments.
• Experience in developing and managing complex sales opportunities.
• Ability to build relationships with laboratory leadership and healthcare decision-makers.
• Strong consultative selling and territory management skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Capability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area.
• Preferred residence in New York City or Northern New Jersey.
• Target incentive of $60,000.
• Monthly auto allowance of $668, or a company vehicle with a fuel card.
