KPI Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Execute SQL queries to retrieve, transform, and validate data from diverse sources.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes.

• Aid in the upkeep of databases and the structures of Data Warehouses or Data Lakes.

• Contribute to data quality initiatives to ensure the dependability of analyses.

• Assist in the development and upkeep of management and operational dashboards and reports.

• Help in the formulation, updating, and validation of key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring performance and trends.

• Perform basic descriptive analyses and data checks, recognizing patterns and anomalies.

• Utilize visualization, ETL, and analytics tools in line with team guidelines.

• Collaborate with internal clients to gather requirements, translating business needs into data solutions.

• Assist in documenting business rules, data dictionaries, and technical specifications.

• Support projects related to data, BI, ML, and AI.

• Operate in adherence to information security policies and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in data analytics or Business Intelligence (BI).

• Strong proficiency in SQL, including the ability to create complex queries and perform basic optimization.

• Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with ETL processes or experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.

• Capability to interpret data, identify patterns, and derive meaningful business insights.

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data quality and accuracy.

• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and the ability to create clear, concise documentation.

• Eagerness and interest in learning new technologies and methodologies.

• Experience with Python for data analysis, manipulation, and automation.

• Understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Lake concepts and structures.

• Familiarity with code version control tools like Git.

• Experience using Apache NiFi, Apache Airflow, and Spark.

• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) concepts.

• Familiarity with NoSQL databases.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.

• Certifications in BI, data analytics, or specific tools.

• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.
