Korean Language Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Assist in the training of large-scale language models using high-quality Korean language data.

• Engage in conversations with the model regarding various language scenarios.

• Ensure the accuracy of facts and the logical integrity of the outputs.

• Record reproducible error traces for analysis.

• Document the different failure modes of the model.

• Recommend enhancements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Challenge sophisticated language models on topics related to Korean linguistics and culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in the Korean language is essential.

• Must reside in South Korea.

• Access to an Android device is required.

• A secure computer is necessary for the role.

• High-speed internet connection is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of Korean grammar, syntax, morphology, semantics, phonetics, and pragmatics.

• Capability to analyze dialectal variations, distinctions between formal and colloquial language, Korean orthography, translation accuracy, semantic ambiguity, and cultural context.

• Excellent metacognitive communication skills and the ability to demonstrate your thought process.

• A master’s degree or PhD in Korean language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Peer-reviewed publications, translation experience, or involvement in hands-on linguistic analysis projects are considered favorable indicators of suitability.
