This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Engage in discussions with language models in K'iche' covering a wide array of subjects.

• Ensure linguistic precision and cultural appropriateness.

• Record reproducible error traces.

• Propose enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation criteria.

• Challenge advanced language models regarding contextual interpretation, tone and meaning, dialectical variations, semantic correctness, and cultural subtleties.

• Document instances of model failure to enhance model reasoning.

⛳️ Requirements

• K'iche' language expert with a deep understanding of regional dialects, phonetics, syntax, idiomatic phrases, oral traditions, and cultural references.

• Professional background in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community engagement is preferred.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills, demonstrating thought processes clearly.

• A secure computer and high-speed internet connection are required for contractors.

• A degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, Translation, or a related discipline is preferred.
