This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Act as the main point of contact for a diverse range of customers throughout Ontario.
• Establish, nurture, and enhance relationships with retail, hardware, and building supply clients.
• Formulate strategic account plans aimed at boosting revenue growth and enhancing customer retention.
• Conduct frequent customer visits to gain insights into business needs and uncover opportunities.
• Identify and develop new business prospects across Ontario.
• Grow existing accounts while acquiring new customers.
• Meet or surpass sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Enhance market penetration and support strategic growth initiatives.
• Comprehend customer challenges and propose value-added solutions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Sales Leadership to ensure customer success.
• Evaluate sales performance, market trends, and account profitability.
• Deliver account reviews, forecasts, and growth strategies to customers and leadership.
• Spend considerable time in the field overseeing the Ontario territory.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be taken into account.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in territory sales, account management, business development, or a similar sales role.
• Demonstrated success in expanding customer accounts and generating new business.
• Experience in retail or mass merchant channels, home improvement, hardware, building products, plumbing, or wholesale distribution is highly preferred.
• Key account management expertise.
• Skills in business development.
• Proficient in sales and negotiation.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
• Strategic account planning skills.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.

• Skilled in influencing and negotiating with customers and stakeholders.

• Frequent travel within Ontario required (50% or more).
• Occasional interprovincial air travel may be necessary.
