Key Accounts Credit Collection Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct monthly reviews of Accounts Receivable for each National Account and present findings to the RCCM, Region Controller, and National Account Manager.

• Drive and actively support collection activities, investigate overdue items and the root causes of non-payment, and follow up on corrective measures.

• Oversee monthly revenue recognition and ensure that National Accounts are billed according to established release criteria.

• Collaborate with SSC Billers/Supervisor to reduce NQR backlogs and Maintenance billing issues.

• Manage daily HighRadius worklists and document collection efforts, communications, payment commitments, disputes, escalations, and account notes.

• Prepare, validate, and submit customer account write-off packages while maintaining accurate records.

• Review and compile vendor invoice documentation, verify coding and approvals, and submit invoice packages to Accounts Payable.

• Prepare and distribute monthly collections dashboards, key account aging reports, and spares aging reports, including KPIs and collection metrics.

• Manage third-party billing submissions and systems such as Service Channel, Arriba, Verisae, PayModeX, and OB10.

• Develop monthly billing controls, update SAP customer notes, and follow up to ensure billing and payment processing is efficient.

• Ensure accurate application of National Account payments and conduct account reconciliations.

• Streamline annual National Account escalation processes in line with contractual maintenance and billing terms.

• Assist in maintaining a professional National Account collection infrastructure that aligns with KONE policies and procedures.

• Evaluate and engage with third-party collections, bankruptcy, bonding, liens, internal legal teams, and external attorneys.

• Assess the creditworthiness of potential new National Account customers using D&B reporting and payment history.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, or related financial functions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience supporting National or Key Account customers.

• Knowledge of HighRadius, SAP, or other ERP systems.

• Background in credit risk analysis and dispute resolution.

• Experience in construction, industrial, service, or related industries.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service capabilities.

• Ability to read and comprehend contracts.

• Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Proven leadership and teamwork abilities.

• Strong managerial, organizational, and prioritization skills.

• Proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Access (Credit Strategies), and Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated experience.

• Ability to work from any location within the United States.
