This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Achieve sales targets for the Immunology portfolio by driving market share growth and other essential metrics.
• Implement franchise and company brand strategies and tactics within the designated customer segment and geographic area.
• Persuade physicians, hospital specialists, pharmacists, and other healthcare decision-makers through clinical and business acumen.
• Develop and deliver tailored sales messages utilizing accurate clinical information and approved medical literature.
• Engage in discussions regarding therapeutic strategies with healthcare providers.
• Execute local marketing initiatives and utilize company resources effectively.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers within healthcare provider systems.
• Secure access to and promote products in targeted Rheumatology, Gastroenterology, and Dermatology teaching institutions, hospitals, and clinics.
• Foster long-lasting business relationships with residents, fellows, attending physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with teammates to coordinate academic sales strategies to optimize institutional sales.
• Develop, implement, and assess institution-specific strategies and business plans.
• Oversee administrative and reporting responsibilities.
• Represent the company at scientific conventions and lead educational programs.
• A minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• At least eight (8) years of successful experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in specialty sales.
• A valid driver's license issued in one (1) of the fifty (50) United States.
• Willingness to travel, including potential weekend and/or overnight trips.
• Capability to drive product access, acceptance, and usage in targeted academic accounts.
• Understanding of the process flow for IV and subcutaneous products.
• Ability to create, execute, and evaluate strategies for Fellows, Residents, and Key Opinion Leaders.
• Competence in developing, implementing, and assessing effective business plans for assigned institutions.
• Ability to collaborate across the marketplace, both internally and externally.
• Proficiency in maintaining call reporting, safe driving, expense accounting, written and oral communications, and representing the company at scientific conventions and educational programs.
• Preferred knowledge of reimbursement, payer, provider, and infusion operations.
• Preferred working knowledge of immunology and/or gastroenterology.
• Prior experience in managing complex reimbursement issues is preferred.
• A willingness to learn about AI/technology and emerging tools is preferred.
• Commission-based compensation as indicated in the Job Sub Function: Sales – Immunology (Commission).
