Key Account Specialist, Dermatology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Meet sales objectives for the Immunology portfolio by driving market share growth and achieving other essential metrics within the designated territory.

• Implement franchise and company branding strategies and tactics within assigned customer segments.

• Engage healthcare decision-makers by crafting and delivering focused sales messages grounded in precise clinical data.

• Develop local marketing initiatives and collaborate with company team members to improve business outcomes and foster customer loyalty.

• Identify and nurture relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare provider systems.

• Gain access to and promote products in targeted Dermatology teaching institutions, hospitals, and clinics.

• Build enduring relationships with residents, fellows, attending physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers.

• Align academic sales strategies with colleagues.

• Facilitate product access, acceptance, and utilization in targeted academic accounts.

• Comprehend the process flow for IV and subcutaneous products to guarantee product access and fulfillment.

• Design, execute, and assess strategies for developing Fellows, Residents, and Key Opinion Leaders.

• Create, implement, and review business plans for assigned institutions.

• Advocate for collaboration throughout the marketplace.

• Maintain accurate call reporting, ensure safe driving, manage expense accounts, and conduct both written and verbal communications.

• Represent the company at scientific conferences and lead educational programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree.

• At least two (2) years of successful experience in pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales, including a minimum of one (1) year in specialty sales.

• A valid driver's license issued in one of the fifty (50) United States.

• Willingness to travel, which may include weekends and/or overnight stays.

• Sound understanding of reimbursement, payer, provider, and infusion operations.

• Strong knowledge of immunology and/or gastroenterology.

• Prior experience navigating complex reimbursement challenges.

• Candidates who have completed Management Development courses, have experience in project-oriented selling within high-incentive and performance-driven environments, and possess a proven track record of sales success (high growth, results versus plan).

• Learning Aptitude towards AI/Tech: Proven dedication to learning about emerging technologies, such as AI, by exploring, iterating, and applying new tools over time.
