This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Establish and nurture relationships with various decision-makers in hospitals, healthcare systems, community clinics, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), and hospital organizations.

• Cultivate and sustain robust relationships within designated accounts in a specific geographic region.

• Navigate through health systems, hospital operations, purchasing protocols, and a variety of service locations.

• Propel sales of Tolmar’s products within targeted healthcare accounts.

• Facilitate the integration and adoption of Tolmar’s products and solutions within health systems.

• Develop and execute strategies to enhance product placement and utilization.

• Engage healthcare professionals, administrators, and decision-makers as key stakeholders.

• Serve as the intermediary between Tolmar and health systems to address needs, gather feedback, and ensure effective communication.

• Present and advocate for products to licensed healthcare professionals, medical assistants, and pharmacy staff.

• Provide on-label information regarding product benefits, features, and indications.

• Conduct product demonstrations, including mixing and administration, with relevant stakeholders.

• Collaborate with marketing, sales, corporate accounts, and medical affairs teams to address account needs.

• Support clinical decision-making, formulary processes, ordering, and procurement of prescription and medical products.

• Target healthcare providers, pharmacy stakeholders, and office personnel involved in account-related decisions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Pharmacy, Health Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience and success (5 years) in health-system selling.

• 5 years of proven and documented success in driving health system formulary processes, cultivating clinical advocates in pharmacies and clinics, and achieving alignment among complex health system departments to enhance sales by establishing product utilization and/or increasing share in existing accounts.

• Experience in buy & bill product promotion.

• Familiarity with Rx sales models within health system-owned specialty and in-patient pharmacies.

• An advanced degree or certifications in healthcare or health systems management is advantageous.

• Strong understanding of healthcare systems and the pharmaceutical sales journey across various service locations.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of insurance and payer systems.

• Capability to analyze data and present findings effectively.

• Strong organizational and project management capabilities.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.

• Good judgment, discretion, and adherence to industry ethical guidelines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

• Competence in using Salesforce.

• Capability to operate a company vehicle with an approved driver’s license and insurance.

• Willingness to travel via air, car, train, etc., to healthcare facilities and conferences at least 70% of the time.
