This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa, +1 more state.
• Create and implement a territory business plan that aligns with the DEFINITY® Marketing and Sales strategy.
• Optimize territory performance to achieve sales objectives.
• Identify customer requirements and utilize suitable marketing resources.
• Address objections, secure agreements, and progress the sales process.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, such as sonographers, medical directors, technical directors, pharmacy directors, and purchasing directors.
• Maintain and utilize clinical, competitive, and market knowledge in sales situations.
• Articulate the economic benefits of LMI products to financial stakeholders.
• Offer reimbursement assistance and handle local contracting as necessary.
• Deliver echo contrast education to cardiology fellowship programs and cardiac ultrasound training institutions.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales Management, and external support teams.
• Participate in ongoing improvement initiatives related to marketing resources, training materials, sales tactics, and sales analytics tools.
• Attend and engage in sales meetings, conference/video calls, and training sessions.
• Exemplify Lantheus values and uphold a compliant, principled, and ethical culture.
• A minimum of a BA or BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• At least 5+ years of proven successful sales experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or related sectors.
• Proficient in software applications and video conferencing tools, including MS Office and CRM systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Capability to present clinical information in a convincing and impactful manner.
• Skill in identifying issues, formulating effective strategies, and swiftly executing solutions.
• Demonstrated success in cardiovascular sales and/or clinical cardiology experience.
• Existing network of contacts within local healthcare organizations.
• Willingness and capacity to travel overnight based on business requirements.
• Must reside within the designated territory.
• Must fulfill call metrics and other territory obligations.
• Valid driver's license, suitable vehicle, and appropriate motor vehicle insurance required.
• Must obtain and maintain facility credentialing for access to medical facilities, including annual flu vaccination and other mandatory vaccines.
