This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel sales outcomes through the development of strategic account plans, pinpointing key opportunities and stakeholders, while enhancing product utilization to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and others involved in the patient care continuum.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic institution, and transplant environments to secure access to stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in compliance with regulations and direct questions to the appropriate partners.
• Identify customer needs, recognize market dynamics and trends, and formulate local tactics that align with brand and corporate objectives.
• Analyze decisions impacting product access within target accounts and devise plans for hospital formulary inclusion and EMR integration.
• Develop and sustain expertise in disease states and clinical/scientific knowledge.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade partners to address territory and national-market strategies and challenges.
• Optimize the territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Plan, organize, and execute local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and additional activities.
• Act as the company representative at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Lay the groundwork for initial sales for a new kidney transplant product launch.
• A Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degrees are preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Significant experience with inpatient or institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-influence executive customers.
• Prior experience working with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory MVR record are required.
• Must comply with all credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned region, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field with no more than 50% overnight travel.
