This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel sales achievements by implementing strategic account plans, pinpointing significant opportunities and stakeholders, and enhancing product usage to meet or surpass sales targets
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare providers, hospital and transplant personnel, and patient-care stakeholders
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic, and transplant settings to engage key stakeholders and decision-makers
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training protocols, ensuring compliance while directing questions to the appropriate partners
• Attend to customer requirements, recognize market dynamics and trends, and devise local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals
• Analyze account-target decisions impacting product accessibility and formulate strategies for hospital formulary inclusion and EMR integration
• Cultivate and sustain knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific developments
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade partners to shape territory and national market strategies
• Oversee the territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business
• Organize and execute local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant initiatives
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
• Report to the Regional Business Director and lay the groundwork for the sales launch of a new kidney-transplant product
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred or equivalent work experience
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector
• Minimum of 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales
• Significant experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches
• Direct involvement with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and executive-level clients of considerable influence
• Previous experience engaging with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record
• Must fulfill credentialing prerequisites for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned geography, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization and/or vaccinations
• Anticipated to spend over 80% of time in the field with up to 50% overnight travel
