This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Propel sales outcomes by crafting strategic account plans, pinpointing key opportunities and stakeholders, and enhancing product usage among suitable patients.
• Foster and uphold professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant staff, as well as patient-care stakeholders.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic center, and transplant settings to engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training protocols.
• Compliantly direct customer questions to the appropriate internal partners.
• Identify customer needs, understand market dynamics and trends, and devise local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals.
• Examine decisions at target accounts that impact product accessibility.
• Formulate plans to facilitate patient access to care, focusing on hospital formulary placement and EMR integration.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific aspects.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams.
• Optimize territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Organize and carry out local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant activities.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
• Establish the foundational sales approach for a new kidney-transplant product launch.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Minimum of 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Significant experience in launching new products within inpatient/institutional settings.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-influence executive-level customers.
• Prior experience working with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic centers/institutions.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable MVR record.
• Must fulfill all credentialing requirements for accessing academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned region.
• Credentialing may necessitate background checks, drug screenings, and verification of immunization and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field with no more than 50% overnight travel.
