This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales performance through strategic account planning, identifying pivotal opportunities and stakeholders, and enhancing product utilization to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Establish and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant staff, and other individuals involved in the patient care continuum.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic center, and transplant settings.
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training protocols.
• Direct inquiries to the appropriate internal partners in a compliant manner.
• Respond to customer requirements while recognizing market dynamics and trends.
• Formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate objectives.
• Examine account target decisions that impact product accessibility.
• Create plans to facilitate patient access, including hospital formulary positioning and EMR integration.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific advancements.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams.
• Optimize territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Organize and carry out local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other initiatives.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Lay the groundwork for initial sales of a new kidney transplant product.
• Report to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent years of professional experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare disease, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and executive-level customers of significant influence.
• Previous experience working with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory MVR record.
• Must satisfy all credentialing prerequisites for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned geography.
• Credentialing criteria may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization and/or vaccinations.
• 80+% expected fieldwork with ≤ 50% overnight travel.
