This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive U.S. sales performance through the implementation of strategic account plans, identifying opportunities and stakeholders, and ensuring appropriate product utilization for patients.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, transplant staff, and others involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic center, and transplant settings to engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Respond to customer inquiries consistently in alignment with product indications and sales training methodologies.
• Direct inquiries to the appropriate internal partners in a compliant manner.
• Address customer needs and identify market dynamics and trends effectively.
• Formulate local tactics that support brand and corporate goals within the designated territory.
• Examine account target decisions that influence product access.
• Create strategies to enhance patient access, which includes hospital formulary placement and integration into electronic medical records.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific information.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade partners.
• Optimize the territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Organize and execute local/regional exhibitions, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant activities.
• Represent Hansa Biopharma at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred or equivalent years of work experience.
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare disease, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience in launching new products within inpatient/institutional settings.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and influential executive-level customers.
• Prior experience interacting with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must fulfill credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned region.
• May be required to undergo background checks, drug screenings, and provide proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of working hours in the field.
• Overnight travel should not exceed 50%.
