This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales results in the U.S. through the implementation of strategic account plans.
• Identify critical opportunities and stakeholders while enhancing product utilization in suitable patients.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital staff, transplant teams, and others involved in patient care.
• Navigate complex environments within hospitals, academic centers, and transplant facilities to connect with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Respond to customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training methodologies.
• Compliantly direct inquiries to the appropriate internal partners.
• Address customer needs while identifying market dynamics and trends.
• Develop local strategies that support brand and corporate objectives.
• Investigate decisions regarding account targets that impact product access.
• Formulate plans that facilitate patient access to care, including hospital formulary placement and EMR integration.
• Acquire and maintain knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific advancements.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams.
• Manage the Key Account Management territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Plan and execute local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant initiatives.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Lay the groundwork for sales in the launch of a new kidney transplant product.
• Report to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare disease, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-influence executive-level customers.
• Prior experience collaborating with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must fulfill all credentialing requirements to access academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned geography, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and verification of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend 80% of time in the field with no more than 50% overnight travel.
