This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales success by implementing strategic account plans, recognizing key opportunities and stakeholders, and enhancing product utilization to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and stakeholders involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic, and transplant settings to connect with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries consistently in line with product indications and sales training protocols.
• Compliantly direct customer questions to the appropriate internal partners.
• Respond to customer needs while identifying market trends and dynamics.
• Formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals.
• Examine account target decisions that impact product accessibility.
• Create plans to facilitate patient access to care, which includes hospital formulary placement and EMR inclusion.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific information.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams to develop territory and national market strategies.
• Optimize the territory budget and expand territory business.
• Organize and execute local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant initiatives.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
• Establish the foundational sales groundwork for a new kidney transplant product launch.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent years of professional experience.
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience in launching new products in inpatient/institutional settings.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-level influential customers.
• Previous experience calling on transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must fulfill credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned geography, which may include background checks, drug tests, and proof of immunization and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field.
• Overnight travel should not exceed 50%.
