This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales performance through the implementation of strategic account plans, pinpointing key opportunities and stakeholders, and enhancing product utilization to meet or surpass sales goals.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospitals, transplant teams, and others involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic, and transplant environments to connect with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training protocols, ensuring compliant referral of questions to the appropriate partners.
• Respond to customer needs, recognize market dynamics and trends, and formulate local tactics that align with brand and corporate objectives.
• Examine account target decisions impacting product accessibility and devise strategies for hospital formulary placement and EMR inclusion.
• Cultivate and sustain knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific information.
• Communicate and collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade partners regarding territory and national-market strategies and challenges.
• Optimize the territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Plan, organize, and execute local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant activities.
• Represent Hansa Biopharma at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Lay the groundwork for sales of a new kidney transplant product and support U.S. sales strategy and revenue launch targets.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Significant experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience collaborating with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and influential executive-level clients.
• Previous experience engaging with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic centers/institutions.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Must fulfill all credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the designated geography, potentially including background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• 80% or more of expected time spent in the field.
• Overnight travel should not exceed 50%.
