This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead sales efforts in the U.S. for a new kidney transplant product and strive to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Develop strategic account plans, pinpoint significant opportunities and stakeholders, and enhance product usage among suitable patients.
• Establish and nurture professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and others involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic, and transplant settings to access key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer queries in line with product indications and sales training protocols.
• Responsibly direct customer inquiries to the appropriate internal teams.
• Respond to customer needs while identifying market dynamics and trends.
• Formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals within the assigned territory.
• Analyze account target decisions that influence product accessibility.
• Create plans to facilitate patient access to care, encompassing hospital formulary placement and EMR inclusion.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of disease states, clinical aspects, and scientific information.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade partners on territory and national market strategies.
• Optimize the territory budget to implement strategies and expand business within the territory.
• Organize and conduct local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker engagements, and other initiatives.
• Represent Hansa Biopharma at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Significant experience with inpatient/institutional new product launches.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-level influential customers.
• Previous experience interacting with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory MVR record.
• Must fulfill credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and relevant organizations in the designated geography, which may involve background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field.
• Overnight travel should not exceed 50%.
