This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Drive sales performance through strategic account planning, identifying crucial opportunities and stakeholders, and enhancing product usage to accomplish or surpass sales targets.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with healthcare providers, hospital and transplant personnel, and others involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic, and transplant settings to access key stakeholders and decision-makers effectively.
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training principles, ensuring compliant routing to the relevant partners.
• Respond to customer requirements, recognize market dynamics and trends, devise local strategies, and support brand and corporate goals.
• Examine account target decisions influencing product access and formulate plans for inclusion in hospital formularies and EMRs.
• Acquire and uphold knowledge of disease states and clinical/scientific information.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade teams on both territory and national market strategies and challenges.
• Optimize territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Plan, organize, and execute local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant initiatives.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Establish the foundational sales framework for the launch of a new kidney transplant product.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred or equivalent years of work experience.
• A minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector.
• At least 5 years of pertinent therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience in launching new products in inpatient or institutional settings.
• Direct experience collaborating with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and executive-level customers of significant influence.
• Previous experience engaging with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must fulfill credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations within the assigned geography, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend 80+% of time in the field.
• Overnight travel should not exceed 50%.
