This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead U.S. sales performance by implementing strategic account plans and identifying key opportunities and stakeholders.
• Enhance product utilization among suitable patients to meet or surpass sales targets.
• Foster and sustain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and patient-care stakeholders.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic-center, and transplant environments to reach key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Respond to customer inquiries consistently, aligning with product indications and sales training methodologies.
• Compliantly direct customer inquiries to the appropriate internal teams.
• Address customer requirements while recognizing market dynamics and trends.
• Formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals.
• Examine account-target decisions that influence product accessibility.
• Create plans for hospital formulary placement and integration into electronic medical records.
• Maintain a strong understanding of disease states and clinical/scientific knowledge.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade departments.
• Oversee the KAM territory budget and expand business within the territory.
• Plan and execute local/regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and associated activities.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Lay the groundwork for the initial sales of a new kidney-transplant product launch.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent years of professional experience.
• At least 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology sector.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare disease, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience in launching new products in inpatient/institutional settings.
• Proven track record working with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and influential executive-level clients.
• Previous experience engaging with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic centers/institutions.
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable MVR record.
• Must fulfill credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations in the designated area, potentially including background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunization and/or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend over 80% of time in the field with no more than 50% overnight travel.
