This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Propel sales achievements through strategic account planning, identifying opportunities and stakeholders, and utilizing products to meet or surpass sales goals.
• Cultivate and sustain professional connections with healthcare practitioners, hospitals, transplant teams, and stakeholders in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic, and transplant settings to access key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Consistently address customer inquiries in line with product indications and sales training procedures, appropriately triaging questions when necessary.
• Recognize customer requirements, analyze market dynamics and trends, and formulate local strategies that align with brand and corporate goals.
• Examine account-target decisions influencing product accessibility and create strategies for hospital formulary inclusion and EMR integration.
• Develop and uphold expertise in disease states and clinical/scientific knowledge.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade colleagues on territory and national market strategies and challenges.
• Optimize the territory budget to implement strategies and expand territory business.
• Organize and execute local/regional exhibitions, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant initiatives.
• Represent Hansa Biopharma at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Lay the groundwork for initial sales for a new kidney transplant product launch.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred or equivalent years of experience in the workforce.
• A minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• At least 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience launching new products in inpatient/institutional settings.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and influential executive-level customers.
• Previous experience interacting with transplant teams, hospitals, and academic institutions.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory MVR record.
• Must fulfill all credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations in the assigned geographic area, possibly including background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations and/or vaccinations.
• Anticipated 80+% of time spent in the field.
• Overnight travel should not exceed 50%.
