This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Drive sales performance through the development of strategic account plans, identification of opportunities and stakeholders, and proper product utilization in suitable patient populations.
• Cultivate and sustain professional relationships with targeted healthcare professionals, hospital and transplant personnel, and other stakeholders involved in patient care.
• Navigate intricate hospital, academic center, and transplant environments to engage with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Address customer inquiries in alignment with product indications and sales training methodologies, ensuring compliant triage of questions to appropriate partners.
• Respond to customer needs, recognize market dynamics and trends, and create localized tactics that support brand and corporate objectives.
• Examine account-target decisions that impact product access and formulate strategies for hospital formulary inclusion and electronic medical record integration.
• Develop and uphold knowledge regarding disease states and clinical/scientific information.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Medical, Operations, Marketing, and Trade partners on strategies and issues related to both territory and national markets.
• Optimize the territory budget to implement strategies and expand business in the territory.
• Organize and execute local and regional exhibits, promotional speaker programs, and other compliant activities.
• Represent Hansa at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Lay the groundwork for sales of a new kidney-transplant product launch.
• Report directly to the Regional Business Director.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, biological sciences, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred or equivalent work experience is acceptable.
• A minimum of 7 years of key account sales experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• At least 5 years of relevant therapeutic experience in nephrology, transplant, rare diseases, or institutional sales.
• Extensive experience in launching new products in inpatient or institutional settings.
• Direct experience engaging with designated accounts, stakeholders, key opinion leaders, and high-influence executive-level customers.
• Previous experience calling on transplant teams, hospitals, and academic centers or institutions.
• A valid driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must fulfill credentialing requirements for access to academic institutions, medical facilities, and organizations in the designated geography, which may include background checks, drug screenings, and proof of immunizations or vaccinations.
• Expected to spend 80+% of work time in the field.
• Overnight travel should not exceed 50%.
