This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Act as the main liaison for assigned major end-customer account relationships within Axis.
• Oversee accounts from their initiation and assignment through the transition period.
• Strategically enhance Axis relationships across various product lines, geographical areas, and extended timelines.
• Engage in account sales and implementation activities, including presentations, proposals, pilot-install site management, and integration testing.
• Cultivate relationships with end users and ecosystem partners.
• Assemble account teams and synchronize resources and communication across sales, business development, marketing, and technical services.
• Document and maintain account records, including meeting minutes, notes, designs, CRM entries, and tracking tools.
• Assist in account design through site surveys, camera recommendations, placement, field of view, pixels on target, site drawings, system design, third-party suggestions, and integrations.
• Keep detailed records of product configurations and specifications.
• Prepare weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly reports as necessary.
• Organize post-sales support and technical assistance.
• Carry out other related tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, or Information Systems.
• At least 5 years of experience in Sales, National/Key Accounts, Sales Engineering, or Project Management, preferably within the video and physical security sectors.
• Strong skills in account management and team building.
• Capability to establish strategic and trusted relationships with end users.
• Proficient in managing relationships with various integrators, distributors, and partners.
• Excellent verbal, listening, written, presentation, and training abilities.
• High level of technical aptitude for shootouts, proofs of concept, pilots, and troubleshooting both pre- and post-sale.
• Ability to explain complex technologies and specifications clearly.
• Experienced in design documentation skills, including schematics, flow charts, metrics, field of view, and pixels on target.
• Strong understanding of the physical security market.
• Knowledgeable about video transport protocols and compression technologies.
• Familiarity with Salesforce is preferred.
• Capable of lifting 20–40 lbs occasionally.
• Able to climb and stand on ladders or lifts for extended durations.
• Comfortable working at heights, including ceilings, ladders, and rooftops.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% on occasion.
