This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina, +1 more state.
• Conduct market analysis and comprehend influencers within Rare Disease therapeutic areas and customer accounts.
• Oversee Accounts while cultivating relationships with C-Suite executives, administrative leaders, and Rare Disease therapeutic service line leaders.
• Formulate and execute Account Plans for designated Accounts.
• Recognize, develop, and implement partnership opportunities between Pfizer and its Accounts/Customers.
• Collaborate with state, regional, and district business leaders as well as cross-functional Pfizer specialists to support Accounts.
• Segment and prioritize Accounts while identifying key Customers.
• Map out decision-making and influencing networks within Accounts and local health economies.
• Sustain relationships with prominent Customer C-Suite executives and Rare Disease therapeutic service line leaders.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.
• Advocate for local, regional, and national healthcare issues and best practices.
• Oversee the joint execution of Project Plans, ensuring accountability from both the Customer and Pfizer.
• Manage prioritized Accounts to meet established business objectives.
• Identify synergies and opportunities for collaboration through Customer/Account Planning.
• Analyze local environments, Account businesses, and Pfizer priorities to develop mutually beneficial Account plans.
• Utilize Rare Disease value propositions to create business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Rare Disease IAT and cross-functional teams to shape compliant initiatives and deliver results.
• Share and replicate successful practices across the region and nationally.
• Lead and support high-performing cross-functional teams.
• Act as a local authority on healthcare reform and the organizational structure of Accounts/Customers.
• Direct Rare Disease Account and strategic planning initiatives.
• Drive pull-through activities in alignment with Pfizer business leader directives.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
• Articulate short-, mid-, and long-term Pfizer business perspectives to Key Accounts.
• Provide local and customer-specific insights to regional marketing and strategy teams.
• Experience in management and/or Account Management is highly recommended.
• A Bachelor's Degree is required.
• An MBA or an advanced degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Preferably 5-10 years of prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical marketing/sales.
• A minimum of three years in a promoted position and/or developmental role showcasing leadership across peer and managerial groups.
• Strong preference for experience and expertise in Rare Disease and/or Specialty Cardiovascular fields.
• Experience with product launches is preferred.
• Prior team management experience is preferred.
• The candidate is expected to reside in the geographical area relevant to the role.
• Proven understanding of the healthcare market and the disease states within the Rare Disease therapeutic category.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with Key Accounts, C-Suite executives, and KOLs.
• Demonstrated skills in account management and negotiation.
• Ability to prioritize resources and create effective business plans.
• Capacity to comprehend, influence, and adapt to evolving local healthcare, customer, and stakeholder requirements.
• Skill in assessing and prioritizing Accounts and limited resources.
• Ability to align Account needs with Pfizer's goals and develop comprehensive Account plans.
• Proficiency in strategic planning, critical and analytical thinking, execution, and outcome measurement.
• Excellent persuasive oral and written communication skills, effective listening, and audience-centered communication.
• Strong networking, stakeholder management, and influencing abilities without direct authority.
• A commitment to compliance is essential.
• Candidates must hold authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.

• This position requires permanent work authorization in the United States.
