This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations with the model in Kaqchikel on a variety of subjects.

• Ensure linguistic precision and cultural appropriateness.

• Record reproducible error patterns.

• Recommend enhancements for prompt engineering and assessment metrics.

• Test advanced language models regarding contextual understanding, tone, meaning, dialectical variations, semantic correctness, and cultural subtleties.

• Document instances of model failures to strengthen its reasoning capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Specialist in the Kaqchikel language with knowledge of regional dialects, phonetics, syntax, idiomatic expressions, oral traditions, and cultural references.

• Professional background in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community engagement is preferred.

• Ability to communicate clearly and metacognitively—“showing your work”—is crucial.

• A degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, Translation, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
