Kansai Dialect Specialist – Freelance AI Trainer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.

📋 Description

• Engage in conversations with AI models regarding language scenarios.

• Validate the accuracy of facts and the logical consistency of responses.

• Document reproducible error traces.

• Record instances of model failures.

• Recommend enhancements for prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.

• Assist in creating high-quality training data for large-scale language models.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in the Kansai language, encompassing grammar, syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics, and pragmatics.

• Capability to critically assess language models on aspects such as verb conjugation, case systems, word order, declensions, gender, and stylistic variation.

• Native-level fluency along with a profound practical understanding of the nuances of the Kansai dialect.

• Significant experience in teaching, translation, or community-based linguistic initiatives can be considered in lieu of a formal degree.

• Strong metacognitive communication skills and the ability to demonstrate your reasoning.

• Access to a secure computer and high-speed internet connection.

• A bachelor's degree in Kansai language, linguistics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.

• Capability to work as a freelancer or contractor.
