This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist the Principal in the overall management and leadership of a statewide virtual instructional program.
• Oversee, mentor, support, and assess assigned instructional staff.
• Carry out observations, walkthroughs, coaching discussions, and performance evaluations.
• Aid in the development of curriculum, instructional programs, interventions, technology, and school improvement initiatives.
• Track student achievement, growth, attendance, engagement, and course outcomes.
• Collaborate with educators, interventionists, Student Success teams, Special Populations, and school leaders to implement academic support strategies.
• Utilize student performance and assessment data to inform instructional choices and school enhancement efforts.
• Keep abreast of Arkansas literacy standards and promote evidence-based literacy practices, assessments, and interventions.
• Foster professional communication with students and families, addressing escalated issues effectively.
• Assist the Principal with reporting, documentation, student records, and compliance processes.
• Support state and internal assessment activities, including preparation, participation, and family communication.
• Contribute to school-wide planning, problem-solving, and ongoing improvement.
• Maintain ongoing communication with the Principal regarding staff performance, student success, operational requirements, and emerging issues.
• Cultivate a positive, professional, student-focused school environment.
• Engage in testing, school events, professional development, in-service training, graduation, field trips, meetings, and other school activities.
• Sustain an effective remote work setting and travel as necessary.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal or Executive Director.
• Previous experience in school leadership or administration is required.
• K–12 teaching experience is mandatory.
• A valid Arkansas Administrator License/Certificate is necessary.
• A Master’s degree or higher in education, educational leadership, or a related field is required.
• Must obtain and maintain the necessary Science of Reading Assessor Credentials.
• Strong understanding of instruction, student achievement, data analysis, and school improvement practices.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to effectively coach, supervise, and support staff.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic virtual environment.
• High proficiency in technology and a readiness to learn new systems and platforms.
• A strong degree of professionalism, flexibility, initiative, and confidentiality.
• Willingness and ability to travel for testing, school events, professional development, and other required activities.
• Must be able to utilize a personal electronic device and email address for two-step authentication.
