JVM Software Engineer, Angular

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Evaluate both business and technical requirements

• Create, develop, and sustain applications utilizing Java and Angular

• Develop and improve REST APIs

• Assist in the creation of microservices-based architecture

• Integrate various systems and enhance application performance

• Engage in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes

• Work closely with a Scrum team throughout the entire product lifecycle

• Create and maintain essential business systems for a telecommunications client

• Develop solutions that support telecom business operations, including BSS, Billing, and customer-facing portal applications

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience with Java

• Practical experience with Angular

• Proficiency in Polish and English languages at a minimum B2 level

• Solid understanding of SQL

• Experience with Oracle Database and PostgreSQL

• Proven experience in designing and developing REST APIs

• Practical knowledge of Spring Boot

• Familiarity with microservices architecture

• Experience using Git

• Practical experience with Docker

• Capability to assess business requirements

• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivered outcomes

• Experience working within Scrum teams

• Nice to have: background in telecommunications or other enterprise-scale environments

• Nice to have: understanding of Billing, BSS, CRM, or OMS systems

• Nice to have: experience with CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins

• Nice to have: knowledge of asynchronous messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ

• Nice to have: experience with automated testing and software design patterns

• Nice to have: experience in designing and developing highly available and secure web applications
