Junior/SemiSenior Back-End Engineer – Python, Security and Safety Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable back-end services and RESTful APIs.

• Create scalable applications utilizing Django, Flask, or FastAPI.

• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and other teams to ensure seamless system integration.

• Optimize applications for enhanced performance, reliability, and security.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and refine existing applications.

• Identify opportunities for technical enhancements and best practices.

• Stay updated with emerging technologies and contemporary back-end development methodologies.

• Engage in impactful projects with U.S. companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Python back-end development.

• Strong grasp of RESTful API development and best practices.

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and ORM frameworks.

• Proficient in Git and software development best practices.

• Familiarity with Django, Flask, or FastAPI is preferred.

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies is an advantage.

• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure is a bonus.

• Understanding of asynchronous programming and task queues such as Celery is beneficial.

• Experience with testing frameworks like Pytest is a plus.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and microservices architecture is advantageous.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Proactive, problem-solving attitude with a desire to take ownership and continuously learn.

• Must be currently residing in Latin America.
